WTN-COPS Fundraisers/Donations

West Tennessee Concerns of Police Survivors (WTN-COPS) is a state chapter of the national organization and is dependent on charitable income and fund-raisers. WTN-COPS is a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible. WTN-COPS is made up totally of volunteers. We have no administrative overhead expenses and we do not do phone solicitation. We are totally dependent on contributions and fundraisers. All contributions go directly towards benefiting the families of fallen law enforcement officers in West Tennessee.

Payroll Deduction Passed by County Commission

Shelby County employees can now contribute to West Tennessee Concerns of Police Survivors through an optional payroll deduction plan approved by the County Commission on February 14. WTN-COPS responds after line of duty deaths to support surviving family members and provides support as long as needed to the survivors.

Using Payroll Deduction to make your donation

  1. Download and print the Payroll Deduction Form
  2. Enter your employee number and name in the space provided.
  3. Indicate the date you would like for your payroll deduction to begin.
  4. Enter 12/31/40 as the cut-off date unless you want it to be for a shorter specific period of time.

    Note: The deduction can be ended at any time by sending through another form with the date you want your contribution to end.

    If you want to give a one time payment, checks should be made payable to:
